With the increased reliance on big data for insights, the need to get to the “why” has never been greater. The Canadian Research Insights Council’s Qualitative Thought Leadership Council in partnership with ESOMAR is seeking submissions for CRIC’s Future of Qualitative Insights Summit that will be held at the MaRS Discovery District on May 20th, 2020. The event is targeted to qualitative research consultants and managers/leaders on the client side who rely on insights from qualitative research.

The Council is seeking presentations that showcase the latest applications of qualitative research. We are seeking original presentations on:

  • Applying qualitative research to support Design Thinking
  • Qualitative techniques that go beyond the rational (applying a behavioural science lens)
  • AI powered qualitative – chatbots, robots and more
  • Enhancing the user experience (UX) with qualitative research
  • Using qualitative skills to lead effective public participation consultations and strategic facilitation
  • Other innovative methods, applications and techniques that are driving the future of qualitative

Joint client/agency submissions and client only submissions are highly encouraged.

This is an excellent opportunity for presenters to build their profile as leaders in the evolving field of qualitative research. It will also be an opportunity to network with other leaders in the industry.

Proposed Session Title – A short punchy title that will draw attendees.

Session description – 150-300 words that describes your session. This will be included in the conference program so it should clearly describe your session and attract interest from attendees.

Why should this presentation be included? – We are anticipating receiving many more presentations then we can fit into this one-day summit. Please provide additional information on why it is essential that your presentation should be included.

Your Bio and Photo – Approximately 100 words that includes your name, title and organization’s name.

Presentations should be around 30 minutes in length. We encourage creative approaches that educate and entertain. All submissions will be subject to review by CRIC’s Qualitative Research Thought Leadership Council.
