The Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC), Canada’s voice of the research, analytics and insights industry is pleased to announce that it has formed an alliance with Women in Research (WIRe), the global non-profit that champions diversity in the marketing research industry.
“We share a common goal of fostering inclusion and promoting diversity for the greater good of both individuals and our sector as a whole,” says John Tabone, CRIC’s Chief Administrative Officer. “We are excited to work with WIRe to advance the contributions and voice of women in research.”
This partnership includes access to the WIRe 50/50 database that will help CRIC adhere to WIRe’s 50/50 guidelines and eliminate bias from speaker selection. CRIC will also be promoting WIRe events and encouraging support for the WIRe Global Scholarship Fund through a donation option available on the CRIC website.
“WIRe and CRIC share many of the same core values when it comes to diversity and inclusion in our industry,” says Michelle Andre, Managing Director. “We look forward to working more closely with CRIC to champion diversity in Canada.”
